Happy Christmas
Where the baby lay
It's not all about the angels
Who sang for him that day
It's not just about the shepherds
Or the bright and shining star
It's not all about the wisemen
Who travelled from afar
Chorus:
It's about the cross
It's about my sin
It's about how Jesus came to be born once
So that we could be born again
It's about the stone
That was rolled away
So that you and I could have real life someday
It's about the cross
It's about the cross
Verse 2:
It's not just about the presents
Underneath the tree
It's not all about the feeling
That the season brings to me
It's not just about coming home
To be with those you love
It's not all about the beauty
In the snow I'm dreaming of

If Jesus is with you....
This sunday Pastor Mathew George gave an anointed message from Word of God. The word was so powerful that many people were delivered by the power of Word.
22 One day he got into a boat with his disciples, and he said to them, “Let us go across to the other side of the lake.” So they set out, 23 and as they sailed he fell asleep. And a windstorm came down on the lake, and they were filling with water and were in danger. 24 And they went and woke him, saying, “Master, Master, we are perishing!” And he awoke and rebuked the wind and the raging waves, and they ceased, and there was a calm. 25 He said to them, “Where is your faith?” And they were afraid, and they marveled, saying to one another, “Who then is this, that he commands even winds and water, and they obey him?”(Luke 8:22-25)
Jesus was with the desciples. Desciples were expert in all conditions of that lake. But still storm tried to overthrow them. BUT... JESUS WAS WITH THEM. And that made the difference.
Pastor spoke on this specific topic of If Jesus is with you..
1. He will bring you back and you are not alone
Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land. For I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you(Genesis 28:15)
Even though troubles may come, but you are not alone.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,I will fear no evil, for you are with me;(Psalms 23:5)
2. He will not forsake you.
It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed(Deu 31:8)
You may face war like situations. Everyone is against you. But the Lord goes before you and he will be with you. Do not be scared as the mighty Lord is with you
They will fight against you, but they shall not prevail against you, for I am with you, declares the Lord, to deliver you.(Jeremiah 1:19)
3. You shall not need to fight
You will not need to fight in this battle. Stand firm, hold your position, and see the salvation of the Lord on your behalf...and the Lord will be with you(2 Chronicles 20:17)
You stand still. Stand for the Lord consistently. And Lord will fight for you
4. He will grant you what you are asking.
Jabez called upon the God of Israel, saying, "Oh that you would bless me and enlarge my border, and that your hand might be with me, and that you would keep me from harm so that it might not bring me pain!" And God granted what he asked(2 Chron 4:10)
May he grant you your heart's desire
and fulfill all your plans(Psalms 20:4)
You have given him his heart's desire
and have not withheld the request of his lips(Psalms 21:2)

Justified by Faith and faith alone
This Sunday(October 17,2010), Pr.Juxy Mathew from Dubai(Maranatha Full Gospel Church), was the speaker in Revival Centre AG church, Fathenagar.
He was talking on the very important and basic topic of justification by Faith and its benefits.
Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ(Romans 5:1)
This verse very clearly tells us how we are sanctified or how we became righteous, its only through faith
This righteousness includes two things
1. Positional righteousness
God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.(2Cori 5:21)
Its the righteousness of God through Christ, we became justifies
2. Progressive righteousness
Let him who does wrong continue to do wrong; let him who is vile continue to be vile; let him who does right continue to do right; and let him who is holy continue to be holy.(Revelation 22:11)
What are the benefits we receive after we are justified by faith?
1. Peace with God
....we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ(Romans 5:1)
Peace with God and peace of God are different
Peace with God includes three things
a. Reconciliation with God
For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, "Abba,Father." The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs -heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.(Romans 8:15-17)
When we are reconciled with God then without fear we can approach God's throne.
When we are reconciled with God then we became heirs of God's kingdom
b. Concord - agreement in views with God
c. Fellowship with God
And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ(1 John 1:3)
2. We stand in the grace of God
..through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand(Romans 5:2) This grace gives us the privilege to go before the Holiest of Holy, which was not the case in old testament.
This grace can remove your weakness. As conveyed to Paul "..My Grace is sufficient for you"
3. We rejoice in the hope of glory
...And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God(Romans 5:2)
4. We rejoice in sufferings
Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance..(Romans 5:3)
5. We have love of God in our hearts
And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us(Romans 5:5)
6. Saved from the wrath
Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God's wrath through him!(Romans 5:9)
7.Reconciliation by the blood of Jesus
For if, when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!(Romans 5:10)

True spirituality- How we identify?
This Sunday(March 7, 2010) . Pr.Sidney Potter was ministering in the malayalam service. The subject he taken was quite interesting especially these days. How we identify or how we test ourselves whether our spirituality is true or false.
Its very simple. There are four questions each one of us need to answer. And based on the answer we can very clearly distinguish whether our spirituality is true or not.
The questions are formulated based on the most famous sermon in the Bible, Sermon on the mount(Mathew Chapter 5 to 7)
1. How do you want other people to see you?
Is it that others want to see you much better that what you are Or you want to see yourself as exactly as you.
When people see you, if they are able to tell How great a God you believe, then you are on the right side.
Mathew 6:1-4
2. How do you see God?
Is it like you see God as gene who gives whatever you ask or you see God as your heavenly Father?
Mathew 6:9-13. Jesus taught his desciples how to pray. This prayer gives us the template so that we learn how to pray. We cannot command God.
Mathew 6:5-8
3. How do you see other people?
Is it that you see others with a condemning heart or see others with compassion?
If we can see others through God's heart, then we are in the right direction.
Mathew 7:1-5
4.How do you see yourself?
Do you think you are complete in all aspects(finished product) or do you think that you need to grow more?

New Year message : This field has everything needed for you
Pastor Mathew George gave a powerful and spiritually encouraging message on January1,2010 morning from the book of Ruth.
"..And a certain man of Bethlehem-judah went to live in the country of Moab, he and his wife and his two sons."(Ruth 1:1 )
1. When your facing a situation which forces you to take decision, take it with God.
But here Naomi and family decided to move to Moab from Bethlehem. That was a wrong decision. This has effect
- on their personal life
- on their generations
- on their future
2. When you knew that you made a wrong choice, better comeback
- Accept the mistake before God
- Correct it before God
Naomi did that.Ruth did that
3. If we take our decision with God,God will open field for you.
Ruth confessed that "your God is my God". God led her to field of Boas.
This field has some specialties
A. This is a Field of prosperity
Ruth 2:1
Ruth 2:8
This field has enough for you and much more than that
Psalms 1:1-3
B.This is a field of Fellowship
"...neither go away from here, but stay here close by my maidens"(Ruth 2:8)
C. This is a field of Security
"... Have I not commanded the young men that they shall not touch you?"(Ruth 2:9)
D. This is a field of Providence

Good bye 2009, welcome 2010
One more eventful year passed by. A new year is arriving.
We are closer to coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Events around us is clearly pointing to that.
We wish all a peace filled and Christ centered 2010.
Instead of making a New Year's resolution
Consider committing to a biblical solution
Your promises are easily broken
Empty words, though earnestly spoken
But God's Word transforms the soul
By His Holy Spirit making you whole
As you spend time alone with Him
He will change you from within
-- Mary Fairchild
We had our New year service started from 8:30 PM on 31st December,2009 and ended at 1:30AM 1st January,2010. This year Telugu and Tamil worship services had separate time for testimony.
We entered to 2010 with praises to our living God

Why full humanity of Jesus Christ is necessary?
In our weekly Bible study in Gachibowli we are learning about "Christ-The person". Pastor Mathew George is taking the session in a very systematical way.
Jesus Christ is fully human and fully God at the same time. To understand this clearly we need to
study the two aspects of it
1. Humanity of Christ
2. The deity(divinity) of Christ
Today we learned about the topic "Is it necessary for Jesus to come as a human? And if so why?"
There are seven reasons why this is necessary?
1. Representative Obedience
Luke 4:13, Genesis 2:15-3:7, Romans 5:18,19
Therefore as by one offense sentence came on all men to condemnation, even so by the righteousness of One the free gift came to all men to justification of life.
For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of One shall many be made righteous.(Romans 5:18,19)
Adam's disobedience was cleared by the obedience of Christ.
2. Substitute Sacrifice
Hebrews 2:14-17
For surely it is not angels he helps, but Abraham's descendants(Heb 2:16)
To deliver the humanity from punishment of sin, He took the form of a man.
3. One mediator between God and man.
1 Timothy 2:5
For God is one, and there is one Mediator between God and man, the Man Christ Jesus
He is presently the mediator between God and man , since He knows our pains and temptations well. Because He went through all these
4. To full fill God's original purpose of man to rule over creation
When God created Adam, He gave him full authority over everything on earth. But Adam surrendered that to Satan by disobeying God.
But Jesus came to restore that
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, All authority is given to Me in Heaven and in earth(Mathew 28:18)
5. To show an example and a pattern in our life
1 Peter 2:21, Hebrew 4:14-15, Hebrew 12:2
Since then we have a great High Priest who has passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we do not have a high priest who cannot be touched with the feelings of our infirmities, but was in all points tempted just as we are, yet without sin.(Heb 4:14,15)
6. To give us the pattern for redeemed bodies
1 Corinthians 15:42-44, Colossians 1:18
Jesus proved that and He is the first born after death. Our hope is that we all will receive this transformed which Jesus received after resurrection.
And He is the Head of the body, the church, who is the Beginning, the First-born from the dead, that He may be pre-eminent in all things.(Colo 1:18)
7. To sympathize with us as a High priest
Hebrews 2:8, Hebrews 4:16
To give us the confidence that you can reach out to the throne of Grace any time.
Jesus is fully man and fully God.

Good Bye to...
It looks like farewell time for our church. This time two of our friends who are part of our Gachibowli fellowship is moving out of Hyderabad due to career relocation.
Jithin came to our fellowship around 4 months back . Even though he stays in Jubilee Hills, he always comes to Gachibowli for worshiping the Lord. Now he is moving back to Delhi where his parents also lives. We thank Jithin for support nad encouragement he showed.
Swathi is moving to Bangalore. When we were looking for a God's child to take over the telugu Sunday school in Fathe Nagar, she willingly came forward to do that. She took the pain to travel to Fathe Nagar from Gachibowli, every sunday and lead the Kids worship and teaches children in Sunday school. The commitment shown by her is really amazing and God will surely honor her.
She was also instrumental in leading the Sunday school in Telecom Nagar, Gachibowli
The members of the Gachibowli Church thanked them for their active involvement and support. Later pastor prayed and blessed them.
Yes. We are going to miss Jithin and Swathi. God bless both of you.

What is worship?
This Sunday(3rd May 2009), Rev.Samuelkutty(Bethel Bible College, Punalur, Kerala) was our main speaker. His sermon was about Worship, which itself was Bible study about that topic
Key Reference : 2 Chronicles 7:1-3
1 And when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from Heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices. And the glory of the LORD filled the house.
2 And the priests could not enter into the house of the LORD because the glory of the LORD had filled the LORD's house.
3 And when all the sons of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the LORD on the house, they bowed their faces to the ground on the pavement, and worshiped and praised the LORD, saying, For He is good, for His mercy endures forever.
1. Worship is : Glorifying God or Praising God for who He is.
This can happen only when we understand the power of God and know Him fully.
Why we need to Praise?
Psalms 71:22-23 - He redeemed us
Rev 5:9-10
2 Chron 20:22
Acts 16:25-26
2. Worship is : Giving thanks to God for His mercies
Psalms 103:2-3
3. Worship is : Giving ourselves unto God
As a holy sacrifice and offering
Romans 12:1
Sacrifice must be
- Holy
- Live
-Pleasing or Acceptable
Malachi 1:13-14
When God is pleased, God will send His fire from heaven
4. Worship is : Prostrating before the God
Worship starts with praise and ends with prostration
Rev 1:17
Rev 5:9
Put down all your crowns and prostrate before God.
Worshiping God becomes meaningful only when all the above four points come together.
